Directions for the Concert Review
To earn your points for the missed performance you complete a review paper of your group’s performance based upon the recordings:
Things you may comment on would be the group’s tone quality, accuracy to the written music, balance, blend, and overall quality of the band’s performance.
Listen/Watch the recording first.
For each piece you must write:
One thing we worked on in rehearsals that you heard the band do well in performance, and how you could tell they did them well.
Explain one thing we worked on in rehearsals that the band did not do as well.
Please close your review with a final paragraph in regards to the importance of every student performing in the concert.
You will have a paragraph for each song plus one closing paragraph. When you are done. Email your review to [email protected]
The review of the songs you would have performed is equal to the points you did not earn.
This must be completed by November 21st to earn the points.
